If your project requires a continuous run of conservation style rooflights then the Lumen Link Light is one solution that we can offer. The Lumen Link Light offers the benefits of increased light without the wait for a special rooflight to be manufactured.
Using rooflights from our range of stock sizes it offers a cost effective and easy way to open up your roof space. Using our specially designed capping section you can link as many of the stock sizes as you require (subject to rooflight height) and can consist of both opening and fixed casements.
As with all the stock sizes, these rooflights are supplied with glazing that incorporates a 4mm toughened safety outer leaf with ‘Pilkington Activ’ self-clean, a 16mm argon gas filled cavity and a 4mm inner leaf of Low E toughened. They are also supplied with an anthracite Valchromat timber interior liner and a brass winding mechanism. In situations where a winder cannot be reached by hand, we offer a pole mechanism and additional crank handles. As an alternative we can supply electric openers that can be controlled either by a wall mounted switch or by a key fob.
A selection of pleated blinds is also available and consists of fabric which is folded as concertina. Usually the fabric is made from polyester or composite materials and will have a reflective backing to reduce heat gain. The blinds are usually operated by hand or pole but can be motorised.
