The Lumen Light offers a range of six standard sizes which are
available from stock for next day delivery. If you are working to a
tight deadline these standard sizes can be linked together using our
capping section. Linking the Lumen Light offers the benefit of
increased light without the wait for a special to be manufactured.
The range can also be adapted for escape purpose and use gas
springs to hold the opening section open in case of emergency.
The Lumen Escape Light uses the same winding crank as the stock
sizes for everyday opening. The gas springs are only to be
used in case of emergency.

Lumen Rooflights
The Lumen rooflight has been especially made to replicate a
traditional Victorian design, with the additional benefit of a high
specification of glazing incorporating Pilkington Activ - the world’s first
self cleaning glass. Everything from its slender lines of steel right
down to its manufacturing tag demonstrate its authenticity has been
carefully crafted.
Manufactured entirely in Great Britain, the Lumen range offers
something for architects, contractors and clients alike, whether your
requirements are led by design practicality, ease of installation,
maintenance or safety.

Lumen Range of Steel Conservation Rooflights
The frames are manufactured to ISO 9001 using robust 3mm Zintec* steel which is
then polyester powder coated in RAL 9005 matt black as standard although other
colours are available upon request.
All of our rooflights offer a high specification of glazing that incorporates a 4mm
toughened safety outer leaf with ‘Pilkington Activ’ self-clean, a 16mm argon gas filled
cavity and a 4mm inner leaf of Pilkington K toughened. The units are bedded and
fronted by hand, using silicone to resemble the traditional putty appearance so often
found on original Victorian rooflights.
In addition, all of our Lumen rooflights are supplied with an anthracite Valchromat
interior liner and a solid brass or chrome winding mechanism.
